8 Spotted Puffer

The 8 Spotted Puffer (Tetraodon biocellatus), also known as the Eyespot Puffer, originates from the brackish and freshwater regions of Southeast Asia, particularly in Borneo and Sumatra. These puffers are small but full of personality, recognized by their distinctive spots on either side of the body.  

 The 8 Spotted Puffer is carnivorous and enjoys a protein-rich diet including bloodworms, brine shrimp, snails, and other meaty frozen or live foods. Regular feeding with hard-shelled prey helps wear down their constantly growing teeth.  

These puffers are intelligent and curious but can be territorial.
